Creating Habits

Creating habits can be difficult especially if you get off track – that’s when you have to recreate them, which can be even more difficult! Here is the thing, if you don’t try, you will never make new habits, so try, and put perfectionism to the side.  Better to get things done then not do them at all!

Key Takeaways to Tune In For

  • [01:41] Today is the holiday is Tu B’Shvat, the holiday of the trees. The reason we celebrate tree’s on this holiday of Tu B’shvat is that trees have deep roots, and people are often compared to trees throughout the Torah.

  • [04:30] When we can shift our perspective on difficult situations, it can change the entire outcome and we can see that many times, a difficult situation helped us grow and move closer towards our goals.
  • [05:50] We tend to focus on the few things that go wrong during the day, but if you pay attention you will see the hundreds of things that went RIGHT.
  • [06:24] You can always pull yourself out of a difficult situation, it is never too late to get decluttered, it is never too late to start getting organized and establish good habits.
  • [08:28] Creating habits is only as difficult as you believe it to be. You have the power to change your life, to create good habits to create physical space for yourself, and live an organized, clutter-free life.
